Kelly Drew Willey, 52, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. She was born in Cambridge on January 14, 1969 to Eva Carol Johnson Smith and the late Calvin L. “Kelly” Willey.

Drew graduated from Saints Peter and Paul High School class of 1987. She was a 1993 graduate from Salisbury State University where she received her bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. She was a Medical Technologist at Memorial Hospital at Easton Shore Health Laboratories and also with Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and Atlantic General Hospital. Drew loved her family, riding horses and watching horse racing. She also had a passion for music, and watching for cardinals. Drew was an associate member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

She is survived by two sons Tanner D. Collins and Kellen R. Hurley both of Cambridge, her mother Eva Carol Smith nee Johnson of Cambridge, a brother H. Tod Willey of Cambridge and a sister Julia S. "Shay" Bauguess and husband Barry of Cambridge, a nephew Garrett S. McWilliams of Cambridge. Besides her father, Drew is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Harlan G. Johnson and Katherine C. Johnson nee Conway, and her paternal grandparents Calvin N. Willey and Virginia L. Willey nee Gordy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins..

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Christ Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
