Margaret Thatcher (Thatcher) Brigham

Margaret T. Brigham, 95, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Bayleigh Chase Assisted Living in Easton. She was born in Fall River, Mass. on June 5, 1923 and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Graham Thatcher.

Mrs. Brigham graduated from Mary Washington Girls Junior College in Fredericksburg, VA. On October 4, 1945, she married Edward H. Brigham, Sr., who passed away on February 16, 1997.  Mrs. Brigham was a library aide for the Dorchester County Public School System. She enjoyed playing Bridge, and the piano. Mrs. Brigham was also a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother and homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter Donna Mulrine of Washington, two sons Edward H. Brigham, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Brigham of Fairfax, VA and their spouses. She is the grandmother of ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother David Thatcher.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 am at Bayleigh Chase at 501 Dutchman’s Lane, Easton, MD 21601. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Young Life, P.O. Box 1243, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
