Obituary

Margaret A. Collison, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.  She was born in Cambridge on August 31, 1936 to the late Howard Granvill Spedden. Pauline Dayton Bradford and Lawrence W. Bradford.

Margaret attended schools in Cambridge, graduating in 1954.  On December 17, 1955, she married William Virgil Collison, who passed away on July 2, 2002.  Margaret enjoyed reading, word puzzles, watching cooking shows, especially Guy Fieri, Jeopardy, and NASCAR.  She also loved traveling, especially camping and taking day trips to Lancaster, PA.  Margaret was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Tall Cedar Travel Club.  

Margaret is survived by her sons Kevin Collison of Church Creek, and Jason Collison and wife Erica of York, PA; grandchildren Brianna Dawson and husband GJ, Logan Collison, Renee Collison, Brice Daratany, Danielle Collison, and Jonathan Collison; and great grandchildren Ian Dawson and Kalel Dawson.  Besides her parents and her husband, Margaret is preceded in death by her brother Aubrey Todd.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 10 AM at Spedden Seward Cemetery with Pastor Nan Duerling officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. 700 Locust St. Cambridge, MD 21613.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
