Norman L. Gambrill III

Norman L. Gambrill III, 73, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on August 13, 1949 and was a son of the late Norman L. Gambrill, Jr. and Helen Andrews Gambrill.

Mr. Gambrill graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1967. He owned/operated N.G. Electric, Inc. On February 14, 1992, he married the former Karen Webb. Mr. Gambrill enjoyed playing with his dogs, crabbing, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Salisbury Elks, Salisbury Moose and Redman's #149.

He is survived by his wife Karen Gambrill of Salisbury, a daughter Tammy Wroten of Salisbury, a son John Gambrill and wife Jaime of Hebron, a grandson Joshua Gambrill, three brothers Wayne Gambrill of Linkwood, Jimmy Gambrill and wife Jackie of Cambridge and Michael Gambrill and wife Heidi of Taylors Island, and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, Mr. Gambrill is preceded in death by two brothers Richard Gambrill and Johnny Gambrill and a sister Patricia Gambrill.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Larry Wroten officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
