Patricia A. Gambrill, 63, of Linkwood passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Cambridge on July 4, 1959 and was a daughter of the late Norman Gambrill, Jr. and Helen Andrews Gambrill.
Ms. Gambrill graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School in 1977. She worked at Black and Decker and later at Egide before her health started to fail. Ms. Gambrill enjoyed going to the Casino, playing bingo, fishing and being with her family and friends. She was a member of the Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW, the American Legion Post 91 and Cambridge Moose Lodge.
She is survived by a son Brandon Gambrill and wife Robin of Rhodesdale, three grandchildren Sierra Gambrill, Shyanne Gambrill and Skyler Gambrill, four brothers Norman Gambrill III of Salisbury, Wayne Gambrill of Linkwood, Jimmy Gambrill of Cambridge and Michael Gambrill and wife Heidi of Taylors Island, close friends Cynthia Goodwin and Kathleen McMurphy and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ms. Gambrill is preceded in death by two brothers Richard Gambrill and Johnny Gambrill and Wanda and Skip Hurley who were like her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
